The Building Process
Each home at Olde Bulltown Village will be crafted and placed into its setting so that it gives the appearance of having matured over several centuries. The building process must carefully balance the following three elements: your requirements, the building site and the architectural guidelines.
Your living patterns and desires will establish the overall framework of your new home. Stoltzfus Enterprises, Ltd. will lead you through your initial building meeting, prioritizing your needs and wants essential for personalizing your home.
The personal preferences you establish will help qualify the building site selection. Whether your requirements dictate a private, naturally wooded setting overlooking the French Creek, an open setting with an expansive view or strategic placement around the manicured French Creek Golf Club, our organization will help you uncover every possibility and advantage that each site has to offer.
Next, your ideas and requirements will be brought together by our design team in the form of conceptual drawings for your approval. Architectural guidelines have been established ensuring quality standards. The guidelines will call for use of appropriate materials such as fieldstone, wood siding, brick, copper gutters and cedar shake roofs, protecting the design harmony of the village.
Each design at Olde Bulltown Village will be carefully reviewed by our expert in the architecture of 18th century Pennsylvania to ensure exterior authenticity and assure the community’s historical character.
The value of each home will be ensured by specific and unwavering guidelines requiring the use of select materials. Standards which have withstood the test of time will be combined with proven technologically superior resources. Fieldstone, brick, copper and select lumber will be complemented by such features as Geo-thermal heating and cooling systems and state of the art appliances, electrical and plumbing fixtures.
The outcome of your efforts will be a custom crafted home thoughtfully placed in an architecturally related grouping. This unique ability to have spaces designed to customer’s specific requirements, in a protected and maintained setting results in Olde Bulltown Village being truly set apart from other communities.
